Each deal can either enter a bidding process, so reps get a handful of strong proposals, or go straight to your favorite EPC partner (yes, friends are welcome here)! Surge keeps you organized and creates transparency for everyone.

NEW LEAD

Keep track of pre-qualification data & store key files until you’re ready to invite EPCs to the bidding process (or ready to tag a specific partner that you already had in mind for the job).

QUALIFIED LEAD

EPCs, get ready! You’re notified of each lead immediately & invited to upload a feasibility study IF you’re interested in partnering on the deal. If not, no problem; plenty of fish in the sea.

PARTNERSHIP

Reps review feasibility studies, choose 2-3 finalists, & from their proposals, select a partner. Reps can decide whether to copilot the sale, or make introductions with the client & step away.

PITCH & CLOSE

AKA: the fun part. Pitch, negotiate, and connect with financiers who can fund your project. If multiple EPC finalists generated proposals, you can take multiple bids to the client.

CONTRACT

Once the client gives the green light, we generate a contract & get it signed. This means your project is a go, and we can move into the engineering, permitting, & installation phase.

ENGINEERING

Engineering approval. We track this stage to make sure reps have full transparency into their deal progress, regardless of whether or not they chose to copilot the deal with their EPC.

PERMITTING

Permits are submitted. At this stage, we invoice the EPC partner for 20% of the total commission owed, and pay out to the partner rep on the deal (i.e. the originator).

EQUIPMENT

Equipment procurement. Again, we track this stage to make sure reps have full transparency into their deal progress, regardless of whether or not they chose to copilot the deal with their EPC.

INSTALL

Project installation begins. We track every project through to completion, and invoice for the remaining 80% of the commission at this stage so we can pay out what's owed to the rep.

PTO!

Last, but certainly not least, we ensure we flip the "on" switch, so we know exactly how much solar energy we're generating, and therefore how much we're contributing to saving the planet.
