Not one. It's just $84/month or $840/year if you're a sales rep. And it's $240/month or $2400/year if you're an EPC or contractor.

And hey, to all you EPCs out there... we don't charge you per lead. It's $240/month to access the pipeline, and whatever leads our rep network pushes in are first-come first-served (and yes, you get notified immediately of each new lead)! You don't pay out commission until the permits are submitted (20% milestone) and the install is completed (80% milestone).

Reps earn 70% commission on Surge's gross margin. You will be aware of your total commission on a deal during its proposal phase, and you'll be able to approve or decline proposals based on the finances presented. Once a deal is closed, prior to contract signatures, Surge does a final quality audit on the deal to confirm all numbers are correct with all parties involved.

As for how you get paid in a more practical sense, when you join Surge, you'll be added to our payroll system and asked to add your direct deposit info. You'll then be paid commission at two key milestones on every deal – permits submitted & installation completed.

EPCs keep 70% commission on their gross margin, and are invoiced by Surge for the remaining 30%, which then becomes Surge's own gross margin from which we pay our reps (lead originators), stakeholders, and sponsors. You will be required to share the gross margin on each deal during its proposal phase, and you'll be able to modify that by 5% either way as the deal is negotiated and finalized. Once a deal is closed, prior to contract signatures, Surge does a final quality audit on the deal to confirm all numbers are correct with all parties involved.
